Role overview:
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and resolving complex technical issues? Wea re looking for a proactive individual to join our Technical Support team. In this role, you will ensure clients receive outstanding service during every interaction, helping to maintain our reputation for operational excellence. You will handle technical support with minimal impact on customer operations, adhering to agreed service levels.

Key responsibilities:
• Provide expert technical support to customers, responding to network issues via email or phone promptly and professionally.
• Monitor customer network equipment and actively manage ongoing tickets to resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently, ensuring top-priority concerns are addressed.
• Deliver concierge-level support to customers throughout the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Handle multiple ongoing issues simultaneously, maintaining a high level of service.
• Effectively communicate orally and in writing within the team, the wider organisation, and customers.
• Be prepared to visit Vorboss Points of Presence (POPs) and Data Centres (DCs) as required.
• Respond to network and customer issues outside standard business hours when needed, whether planned or unplanned.
• Self-starter who can work with ambiguity – you drive continuous improvement through iteration.
The right candidate:
We’re seeking a driven professional with a combination of technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving demands.
Required Certifications (You should currently have or be willing to obtain within 90days)
• Network+
• CCNA (preferred but not essential)
• JNCIA (preferred but not essential)
Skills & Experience
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
• Exceptional customer-facing skills, whether via phone orin-person interactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Quick learner with sharp troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams to achieve positiveoutcomes.
• Proactive and adaptable mindset, capable of working underpressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• 3 to 5 years of technical experience or prior experience as aNetwork Support Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with networking equipment.
• Familiarity with data centre environments, including servers and network hardware.
• Experience using ticketing systems for issue tracking and resolution.
While not required, the following are a plus:
• VoIP expertise.
• MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience.
• Previous experience in fibre optics (industry or installation).
